Join Sharon from Craking Mahjong with Sharon at House of 423 for a welcoming lesson and guided play. You’ll learn the suits, flow of play, table etiquette, and how to begin building hands. No experience or group play needed. Bring a friend or come on your own; new players will be encouraged, questions will be welcomed, and everyone will have a place at the table. You’ll leave with a strong foundation, hands-on practice, and new connections around the table!
Sharon will introduce the essentials of American Mahjong before helping everyone learn through guided play. There's no expectation that you already understand the game. You don't need your own Mahjong set, and you don't need to arrive with a group.
You may arrive curious about Mahjong and we hope you leave with more confidence, plenty of shared laughs, and new people you'll look forward to playing with again.
